Margaret Anne "Peggy" Moffitt is a former American model and actress. During the 1960s, she worked very closely with fashion designer Rudi Gernreich.

Moffitt developed an avant-garde signature style that featured heavy makeup and an asymmetrical hair cut inspired by Vidal Sassoon. Her unique look helped her to become an icon of the 1960’s fashion scene.

Lesley Lawson was an English model, actress, and singer in the 1960’s, widely known by the nickname Twiggy because of her thin build. Her short hair gave her a very distinctive androgynous look. With doe-like eyes, striking black mascara and even extra drawn on eyelashes, Twiggy had a look that was unique to the fashion industry. She was named “The Face of 1966” by the Daily Express and voted British Woman of the Year. Twiggy took the world by storm in this era and as a cultural icon went on to become one of the first international supermodels.

It is associated with the hippie culture of the 1960’s which was a countercultural movement that rejected the mores of mainstream American life. The title pays homage to the 60’s which was a *groovy and exciting time for the fashion industry.
